Mataquemada 2022

Stunning, elegant and aromatic, this wine is a single vineyard field blend of predominantly Garnacha Tinta with around 10% Provechon and Garnacha Blanca. Grown on decomposed slate soils at an altitude of 980m. This is the second vintage of this wine.
This wine originates in vineyards near the beautiful isolated old town of Torrijo de la Cañada, where wine production was once a major occupation but there are now few garnacha vineyards remaining. The label depicts the private bodegas on the hillside overlooking the town where its inhabitants made their own wine in days gone by.
