Ferran Centelles never stops and this time he’s been tasting Albariños. Read his article, in jancisrobinson.com, on the second wave of Albariños here
Many thanks for including our Cup and Rings Albariño and for the great tasting note and rating!
“Ferran tasted the best of the second-wave Albariños blind… See also the story of both first and second waves in this distinctive region in the far north-west of Spain in Rías Baixas reinvented.
Cup and Rings Albariño 2016 Rías Baixas Rated 16 points
“Tasted blind. Very clean and complex nose: citrus fruit, a touch herbal, lemon candy, lemon pie, apple, pear, cream and brioche.
Very pure wine, salty acidity, deep with a creamy texture. The lees texture is clearly present on the palate adding complexity and a honey touch.
Complex, yet will please everybody.”
